Requirements

  • Experience in metal construction technology or similar

  • Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination (e.g. when screwing and riveting metal components or setting spot welds)
  • Care (e.g. when fitting hinges, locks and electric drives)
  • Technical understanding (e.g. when maintaining technical systems)
  • Spatial imagination (e.g. producing components according to technical drawings)
  • Good physical condition and a head for heights (e.g. lifting heavy components, working on scaffolding and working platforms)

Steel construction / metal construction project manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks

As a project manager, you will be responsible for the development, planning, measuring, drawing and construction management, i.e. the complete realisation and commercial support of metal construction projects of various sizes.

This essentially comprises

  • Measurement and drawing
  • Construction site supervision
  • Data entry and maintenance in our EDP system
  • Comprehensive appointment management
  • Competent communication, coordination and monitoring of project content with all external and internal project participants
  • Purchasing preparation and support (deadlines, costs, quality, invoice verification, etc.)
  • Work preparation for production and assembly
  • Quality management and monitoring
  • Documentation creation and order management according to DIN EN1090
  • Preparation of invoices with supplement management and post-calculation

Your profile

  • Steel construction / metal construction engineer, technician, master craftsman (m/f/d) or comparable qualification with relevant knowledge in the industry or relevant professional experience in a comparable position
  • Drawing experience, ideally 3D (e.g. Solidworks)
  • Several years of experience in a managerial and/or organising role
  • Entrepreneurial thinking with a good understanding of the combination of technical and economic aspects
  • Great technical and problem-solving competence as well as high commitment
  • Your willingness to acquire basic knowledge of 3D/CAD software (SolidWorks) would be desirable

Your tasks

You will be responsible for researching, requesting quotations and ordering components. Your area of responsibility will include purchasing everything from screws to finished steel constructions and logistical services during the order process. You will oversee purchasing for smaller and larger metal construction projects, from selecting suppliers and placing orders to checking incoming goods and invoices. You will work in a team and in close coordination with our colleagues from assembly and project management.

This further includes:

  • Intensive coordination of order requirements with assembly and project management
  • Requesting and comparing quotations for metal components, logistics, etc.
  • Checking and coordinating delivery dates, costs, quality, etc.
  • Ordering and tracking the delivery
  • Incoming goods inspection and invoice verification

Your profile

Your tasks

In the technical and commercial processing department, you will be responsible for order processing and project management and will be in charge of smaller and larger metal construction projects, from order acceptance to entry in the integrated IT system, monitoring of schedules, invoicing and archiving/documentation. You will work in a team with the responsible project manager and relieve him or her in project management.

This further includes:
