Steel construction / metal construction project manager (m/f/d)

As a 4th generation family business, we are one of the leading medium-sized steel and metal construction companies in Upper Bavaria. With a team of around 40 employees, we plan, manufacture and assemble for public, industrial and private clients in southern Germany.

We are looking for qualified and motivated employees to join our team of engineers, designers, master metalworkers and skilled labourers.

Your tasks

As a project manager, you will be responsible for the development, planning, measuring, drawing and construction management, i.e. the complete realisation and commercial support of metal construction projects of various sizes.

This essentially comprises

  • Measurement and drawing
  • Construction site supervision
  • Data entry and maintenance in our EDP system
  • Comprehensive appointment management
  • Competent communication, coordination and monitoring of project content with all external and internal project participants
  • Purchasing preparation and support (deadlines, costs, quality, invoice verification, etc.)
  • Work preparation for production and assembly
  • Quality management and monitoring
  • Documentation creation and order management according to DIN EN1090
  • Preparation of invoices with supplement management and post-calculation
  • Calculation and quotation preparation (desirable)

Your profile

  • Steel construction / metal construction engineer, technician, master craftsman (m/f/d) or comparable qualification with relevant knowledge in the industry or relevant professional experience in a comparable position
  • Drawing experience, ideally 3D (e.g. Solidworks)
  • Several years of experience in a managerial and/or organising role
  • Entrepreneurial thinking with a good understanding of the combination of technical and economic aspects
  • Great technical and problem-solving competence as well as high commitment
  • Your willingness to acquire basic knowledge of 3D/CAD software (SolidWorks) would be desirable
